Joy of Badgers in The Lake District

In March this year my wife and I visited a Bed & Breakfast in Grasmere (Lake District). It was our wedding anniversary weekend and The Lake District is one of our favourite places. As a bonus, the place we stayed in had an active badger sett in the garden. The badgers live in their garden. No special arrangements to view, just be around at dusk. They feed them every night to supplement their diet and the badgers always turn up. I have long wanted to see a badger and this was perfect. I had the garden to myself pretty much, just me and the badgers. The photos are a bit grainy in parts as it was getting dark and whilst my camera is good in low light, the use of a long lens hindered it a bit. The badgers knew I was there and whilst a little wary, were not particularly bothered.
