Back in October 2022 I heard a rumour that there was a Snow Bunting lingering on Baildon Moor (not far from where I live). So I had to go see for myself as this was a new species for me. Thought it might be tricky to find and then quite flighty and difficult to photograph. Nothing could have been further from the truth. This individual bird was easy to find and very obliging. In the end I had to leave it and go home. I must have spent the best part of an hour watching it and pointing it out to locals as they walked past.
