A lovely quiet place for an evening stroll. A select few photos to share with you.
A Roe Deer grazing on the bracken, a Curlew, Skylark on the wall, and a Stonechat flitting about a clearing as the sun went down.
Also seen/heard during the evening was a Cuckoo, Meadow Pipit, Skylark, Red Grouse, and just after dusk a Nightjar calling.
Timble Ings is a combination of heather moorland, moorland fields, and conifer plantation. As a resuIt attracts a wide range of birds and insects. The sound of the Roe Deer barking at dusk is quite alarming when you first hear it.
